"Tales of the northern seas" was a collaboration by Rory and Mar Lehrman (son and father). Rory was 13 and was a big fan of Carl Barks Donald Duck adventure comics. Mar was an Oregon surfer with concerns about the future of surfing in the northwest.
Once a month in 1993-1995, Rory and Mar published a 10-12 panel story in "the Upper Left Edge," a Cannon Beach tabloid. Most were complete in one page, but several stories required 3 or 4 issues to tell.
